I have long been silent on baseball here at ClimbingSky. For some reason, it is hard for me to write about baseball when there are no games going on. In the past, during the offseason, I would read baseball books to get me through the dark days. But for the past few years, I have not been interested in doing so.

Over this winter, I have been reading the trade rumors on MLB.com and checking in occasionally on my favorite baseball podcasts.. But that has been it.

With Spring Training happening now, that has changed. Room is being made in my writing and reading life again for The Game, and here at ClimbingSky.

If you have missed my thoughts on The Only Game that Matters, you are in luck. If you don’t like baseball, you may not be as excited as I am.
