On June 4th, 1992, San Jose voters tell the Giants they don’t want them by rejecting a plan to build a new stadium in their town. Then the Astros add insult to injury by swatting the ball every which way in a 12-6 drubbing at Candlestick Park in front of just 8,850.

Billionaires are a blight upon our world. They serve no useful purpose. They only cause misery and heartache. Hoarding resources that rightfully belong to all the peoples of the earth, they sow division, pain, and death.
Sometimes the people stand up against the wealthy and tell them where they can stick it. In June of 1992, the people of San Jose did the right thing.
I live in the sure and certain hope that sometime and someday “We the People” will rise up and tell the oligarchs of this world where they can stick it.
