Christmas Eve Ghost Stories and Christmas Eve Murder Mysteries are a British tradition, but I am not sure they are such an American tradition.

This year, as I was planning out ClimbingSky, I decided to try out this very British tradition myself. Since I need to work ahead to keep up my posting schedule, I actually ended up doing most of my Christmas reading in November. I left space, as I was working ahead, for the number of stories that I wanted to review.

It was a good idea until reality set in. I ended up reading way more stories than I had space for. The result is that I ended up randomly choosing stories that represented a variety of authors and styles.

I do not know what your Christmas, holiday, or December traditions are, but I would recommend making at least one Christmas Mystery a part of your tradition going forward. I am certainly making it one of mine.
